Beginning October 1, 2021, Republic Services will take over as the contracted refuse and recycle hauler for Lewisberry Borough. To prepare for this transition, Penn Waste will be collecting their mobile recycling carts on Monday, September 20, 2021. Republic Services will also be delivering new recycling carts and wheeled trash cans to every residence in the Borough. Please see the handout that Republic Services will be including with the cart delivery on Monday September 20, 2021. Please use the Republic Services issued carts from that date forward. We appreciate the residents’ cooperation in a smooth transition over to Republic.
